Placement of Brembo Calipers?

So I have seen so many different locations of the Brembo brake calipers.

Just talking front wheels for the comparison.
Lambo, Porsche, Chevy all have them rear of the wheel.
Nissan GTR front.
Some LeMans racers lower front.

What is the difference?

Weight balance is a part of it. Some cars have both: rear in the front, front in the rear. All depends on make of vehicle and type of caliper and weight ratio

not 100% but I think it has to do with position of tie rods, some are in front of spindle and others on rear
