vented hood questions

If the hood does not have rain guards for the vents willwater getting through mess anythign up?

I know a few members have made their own rain guards. If it doesn't have any, yes water will get through them. It "shouldn't" hurt anything but who knows. I know a few members you run the hex vents with no rain guards and their cars are fine.

More rain comes from the bottom. You'll be fine.

would rain short out any wire for my halos and such wired to fuse box :o? or the ground on my wheel well?

I have a bunch of holes in my hood. granted i dont run my car in the rain, however i wash it at least once a week in the summer and spray the engine down. No issues. Each of these kits come with water trays/deflectors as well.

These motors are pretty water tight, not like the old carberated motors back in the day.
