GMS Pricing..Someone please define.
I have a question..
I am GM employee eligible, also can get GMS and/or GM pricing through my credit union. I used GM's site to build a comparable priced and optioned price car (to Camaro) last night. The discount for a $37500 truck was approximately $3400 This was GM's credit union/GMS pricing. The numbers some participating dealers are quoting me are $36,200 to 36,700including delivery for the following. 2SS Manual W1H Interior trim VZG stripe RS opt. VYV Hurst To me, this pricing is not in line with other cars GMS pricing. What EXACTLY is GMS pricing for this car? I read and was told somewhere between GM employee and dealer invoice. Can someone provide some difinitive insight to what exactly I should be paying for this Camaro? My uncle (GM manager) stated GMS for Camaro should be somewhere around $34,100 on a rough estimate. Sorry to add any fuel to an already debated fire, but tried to locate in search archives. And just wanted to say, the site is awesome. |

GMS = Employee. Pricing for this is on the pricing sheet.
GSU = Supplier/College/Military. Pricing has not been announced but it's usually anywhere from 4% all the way up to 10% off MSRP (usually on the lower side). Eventually they should have a builder thing where you can find the supplier pricing. |

OK..
I was sort of confused..I have the pricing sheet from the site. Maybe this is because I "thought" GMS pricing was better than what Basil Chevy stated. Basil is quoting me $36,288 for my "GMS pricing" for the above optioned 2SS. I get $36,730 (full MSRP inc options) without T/T/T. He says I can get $1000 less if GMS eligible. Huh?
