Avatar / Screen name story?
So what's the story behind the Avatar or Screen name you picked when you joined C5?
I'll lead off... KaBoom1701 The KaBoom part comes my early years when I worked for a Union as miner blasting and digging tunnels (was trained out in Area51/NTS area [Nevada Test Site]....long story). I was the blasting nut who went in after drilling a mucking (yes, that's a word) was finished to set all the blast material and wires. I was giving the name KaBoom........."KaBoom", get in here, it's your turn. lol That's what I would hear a lot. The 1701 part comes from my Star Trek days. Yes, hey I'm a trekkie. lol So the name KaBoom1701 came when I got my first PC......HP540 that came with CompUSA dial up!  I installed this chat program called ICQ . Upon installation it asked for a screen name. It was then that KaBoom1701 name was born.  Anyone remember this ICQ noise?

My avatar is my inner persona, my lust for young blood...muhahahaha.......Well its the fallen angel, good and bad both.
My screen name is a combination of a nickname "Jani" that i use for everything online and "MAKS" the abbreviation of my name. PS. This is going to be a very interesting thread

Well....yeah. I think my avatar is fairly self evident in the Camaro community. I have since nicknamed my car as such, even though it's not representative of this current generation. Be that as it may, it stuck. As far as my screen name is concerned, I first came here in search of a 1LE but was unable to find one I wanted. In the end, I ended up purchasing a Camaro and well, the screen name carried on from previous message boards.

Well Trans Am Tom just didn't work for this car or board
 I have had a 5th Gen SIM screen saver ever since the prototype was released so the avatar was a no brainer.

Last name is Behymer (which apparently is impossible to pronounce correctly on sight) so I shortened it to something simpler.
It has nothing to do with German cars.

Donas supposedly means Demon in Gaelic. My wife named the car Donas after a war horse in a book series she loves. Hence Demon War Horse. Avatar is Donas in the driveway ready for the road. Never put up a wet horse, so he gets whipped down after every ride like our real horse does when my wife rides her back in E. TX.
Other boards I have used Skunk Works or A12 for my love of the black project spy planes Kelly Johnson had made.
