Did they promise to cover the drivetrain on the factory warranty? If so, get it in writing!

Just make sure they can dyno tune it for you. Otherwise you are probably better off going to an aftermarket group, or even doing it yourself and taking it to get tuned. It's not a difficult job...

More than likley it's a maggie kit with an aftermarket warranty. You can get them almost anywhere.

That's what I think. There might be a warranty on the supercharger, but if the increased horsepower causes failure in the drive train somewhere, unless they agree up front in writing to cover it, I think that the buyer is on their own. My warranty is important to me (5 year/ 100,000 miles on engine and drive train). I had ring and pinion gears replaced under warranty on my 1995 Firebird- the parts alone were around $1,500 as I recall!

Guy's the amount of speculation on this board kills me. Like I said before Magnacharger has offered this for YEARS. It's not a factory warantty it's an aftermarket one.

That's an iron clad warranty there. Almost anyone would void it. Of course I'm sure the same would apply for a factory warranty.

Some highlights:
- They aren't liable for the first 90 days and 1,500 miles if other engine work was performed
- Oil changes must be performed by an oil change facility (no changing your own oil) every 4 months or 4,000 miles.
- Any other modifications done to the vehicles engine/trans must be approved in writing from Magnuson.
- Oh yeah, and NO RACING!
