Question about Americana Paste Wax

I went out to try out my Adams Americana wax for the first time last Wed. It was about 60 to 65 °F out. I purchased the wax last fall and stored it in my house all winter (so it was not exposed to any very low temps).

When I opened it and went to use it, the wax would not go on the applicator very well and was like a powder. I'm not sure if it had dried out and just needs a little water? I got out the Mothers wax that I had used last year and it was soft and went on fine.

Anyone have any idea's?

Silly question, but did you remove the wax paper between the applicator and the wax first?

You have to agitate the wax for a few seconds with the applicator to "wake" up the wax

This was going to be my first question... to keep the pad from sticking to the wax in shipment a wax paper insert is placed between them. A lot of times people don't realize its there.

We're actually going to start putting a printed insert in to make it more obvious.

Yes, it was the plastic film. I had no idea it was there.

I made the same mistake and thought the wax wasn't all it was hyped up to be... I then Watched a video and someone mentioned to remove the wax paper

After that it works great amazing wax and shine.
