Medical Marijuana & Living in California
Chronic pain sufferer here. Thinking about moving out to California. Maybe buy small Condo out there. Just looking for a place on the west coast to chill, make new friends, have fun and smoke some buds in peace! I like the vibe of NorCal but never been up there. I like The SF Valley in L.A. I'm retired and financially good. Advice, suggestions, tips, etc, very much appreciated in advance.
What's a good area for medicating? Last edited by Ray_Cam_SS; 06-25-2014 at 12:50 PM. |

San Diego is gorgeous but it has a high cost of living.

Colorado is a lot cheaper...... and no medical approval needed.
I HATE California. It has some of the stupidest laws in the country.

Good ideas to keep your permanent residence in FL. The taxes in CA will kill you.
You need to research each area of the state for cost, political and culture differences. You would be surprised how absolutely different each area can be. Pick the wrong area and you will hate it. Keep in mind, CA is a super majority blue state. |

Colorado is a Freezer in winter. I'm republican and agree the laws in CA are strange, but the state has good MM laws for people with chronic pain.

The only good thing about California is the weather. Everything else is pretty terrible. High cost of living, high taxes, restrictive laws, terrible people and getting worse all the time.

And don't bother bringing your Camaro, it will never pass state inspection. I see a Prius in your future.
If you need a good agent that will not steer you wrong, contact Al Ricci. If he doesn't handle the area you want to move to, he will give you a good referral. |

Just be sure to leave all of your guns and any wish to mod your car across state lines. The weather here in San Diego is unbelievably awesome, but its very expensive to live here, and the taxes are high so we can pay for a bullet train.

All of this. I don't know how much pain you're in man, but you'll experience a loss of joy moving to this god forsaken state, along with a severe loss of money to taxes and housing.
