wow.... i didn't even know we had a heroes thread going. yes sometimes i'm a little slow.

first 2 shows were all right they didn't knock my sox off or anything but they were good. the 3rd show was a lot better. and last night's was pretty good too.
i think they really listened to the fans this season, it's fast paced and we haven't had to go though a "i have powers, what do i do now" story line.

camaro_corvette..... i thought that season 2 wasn't that good too. until i watched it again. watching it with out a week in-between shows makes it a lot better. it seemed not to be as slow as it was watching it the first time. parts of it were really good, imo i think that the flow of the show (meaning it moved like season one) and the introduction of new characters (in the same way they were introduced in season one) is what made season 2 kind of suck. this year they are not doing that, the story starts the way it ended the last 2 seasons, fast and quick, lots of information in a short bit of time. that is what i think heroes fans wanted and i haven't heard nearly as much complaining about this season as i heard about the last one.

anyways- the question i have i want to take up for debate. the speedster, is she fast, and that is it or is she a time manipulator like hero, just not to the same extent as hero?

Here is my theory. Gabriel's kid is a clone of HRG.

Eventually she will go soo fast that she could inevitably stop time, I think she could do it, but no where near the extent of Hiro. I was a little confused from the first episode when she was able to talk to Hiro with time stopped, but she didn't understand how Hiro was doing it. Which tells me she hasn't figured it out or she just doesn't have the ability.

well the question came up because of last week's show, where both hiro and her abilities where canceled out by the haitian. because i always thought that his ability only canceled "mental abilities" and not "physical" ones. example, season one when him and hrg had nathan, but nathan was still able to fly away. so if he (the haitian) canceled her ability then it would mean she was not really going fast as much as she was manipulating time itself.

as for sylar's kid being a clone i don't think we will ever know.

NBC Mondays, or you can watch them online. You might be a little confused as to what is going on since you have never seen it, but keep an open mind and you'll catch up fast,,,really fast. Each episode doesn't seem to waste any time.

im trying to remember all the stuff that happened in the 1st and 2nd seasons. plus whats happening now.

My wife and I own season 1 and 2 on DVD and watched all of them before the season premiere.

it just sucks that i will only get to watch another 3 episodes tho.
cuz i leave for boot on the 29th. ill have a lot of catching up to do when i get the chance.

That sucks and congrats at the sametime. I still remember going to boot camp and that was almost 15 years ago. Just remember that boot camp is really just a mind game and you will do fine. What branch are you going in?

on topic: oh, and the guy i was talking about was the older guy in the previews i think of the new episode. we saw him from the back, and a bit of his head.

but skylars kid a clone? he was about 4 years old....and we were in the future by about 3 years. So, someone could die soon....to get him to be a clone.
