Yeah, its making all kinds of goofy noises too. "Service stabilitrack" is even flashing at me. if I come up with the energy I might pull the motor tonight. Otherwise next week we will dig deep and see what gave.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

Man and I thought I had a bad day! Sorry to hear man!!

As for me, track prep was awesome! My buddy's gto ran his best time so far, with a 1.71 60 and a 12.13 run. The wait times were not bad at all!

As for my runs, well once again my 60s were high 1.8s bogging or spinning! With a bunch of 12.4s and on the one an only good rip, I went 1.83 60ft without bogging! But of freaking course this pile of crap 6 speed blocked me out of 2nd gear!!! Was trapping 115 all day at 2400ft so I had the power!

End of story... This garbage manual trans is OUT! Sick of it, 3 years of junk! I am swapping to a 4l80 with a manual valve body and a 3600 stall!

thanks john, got her home in the garage and will be pulling the motor tonight or tomorrow to dig inside and see how bad it is.

dont give up on the manual!!! you can do it!!!

as for how GLD went... Prep in the beginning was actually decent. there was a couple of cars that broke at the line and that kinda ruined it all. But here are my passes in order.

11.157 @ 123.54mph - 1.718 60ft<--
11.161 @ 121.09mph - 1.693 60ft<----no meth
11.196 @ 124.00mph - 1.780 60ft<--

11.311 @ 121.90mph - 1.772 60ft<- blown motor

the first 3 passes i was having issues with my meth hose popping out of the injector when it started spraying. I finally fixed that on the final pass when the motor let go. It happened on my 2-3 shift. I will be uploading a video tonight or tomorrow where you can see it happen. I immediately let off and cruised through the end of the pass and just drop it back to the pits. Every single light on my dash was on. It was flashing "service stabilitrak" and my check engine light was flashing.

i scanned the computer and it came back with misfire in cylinder 7....

Man your worrying me with going to the track!

Let me know when you start working on it. I wouldn't mind watching or giving a hand. Ill drive the equinox so you don't have to see a camaro driving.

I wonder if the meth popping off is a contributor.

If the meth is being used for fueling then most likely.

Jeremy, did you look at all the runs with the data log? Or just the one that popped?

No meth was only for cooling. I made sure not to tune for the meth. Plus on the run when the motor popped, i had fixed the meth issue.

AFR = ~10.8:1
IAT = 115-125 degrees
fuel pressure - 64.3 psi
highest rpm i shifted at was 6700.

I mean it was a flawless pass besides the fact cylinder number 7 gave up on me.

i checked all of my logs.

On the logs where my meth popped off 3rd and 4th gear just saw high IAT. But highest it went was 180-190. AFR looked great still though. So i never leaned out.

Stock valve springs = valve float = problems?

I guess we'll see when you open it up, might have dropped a valve or something.
