What does it matter? To each his own. I do not think of him any less loyal because of a V-6. That is absolutley absurd to think that way, why not just be happy for him that he got what he wanted, notice I said wanted. As long as it has a BowTie on it that's all that matters, BTW Congrats on your new car, enjoy it.

I ordered the LS, added floor mats and came up with $23.100, plus TTL. Sure money had something to do with it. What else could I get for that price that has the looks and performance for that much?

And about the rhetorical question regarding winning the lottery,,,I don't believe I would be in a Chevrolet showroom. If I wanted one then, and still had room left in the garage, I'd send the hired help to order one for me!

V6

Stopped driving V8's with my 400 CU in. Roadrunner.
Been driving the 3800 V6 Bonnevilles since so this V6 is back to my Muscle Car days for me. You don't miss what you didn't have.
Also the Ward's 10 best list was the deciding point for me.

If you are performance oriented, you should have spent a tad more and bought a Vette. Oh yea, I have one of those, can I hang with the V8 crowd now to. You buy what you want, let others buy what they want.
Well said,The color on your vette

Nobody can make me feel bad about owning a v6 Camaro. The only thing that could upset me, is myself. I'll never know the feeling of pulling out to an empty street and just tearring(spelling?) a$$....or will I? this v6 packs a punch =)

Just the fact that you said that makes it sound like you might have regrets or at least that wondering what it might have been in the back of your head.

I am just messing with people trying to get all opinions on the V6 and V8 because I am killing myself trying to decide.

The V6 is incredible technology, is a proven platform and will completely satisfy most buyers. I would not have bought a V6 Rustang or Challenger but Camaro completely different. Honestly some people are buying the V8 for the same reasons they buy huge jacked-up trucks-- compensating for "other" attributes that are lacking.

Why buy something that gets both less horsepower AND less MPG? Just doesn't make sense Besides, I can't stand the new stangs rear end, and the chally just looks a lil to fat for my tastes. Camaro FTW
