They are saying it will swap. I got a feeling this will be a popular mod.

Well I always love it when people say --- buy the v8 - I think the goal here is for GM to push out a v6 turbo. Not everyone wants 412hp and 12mpg. Gretchen got growl has twin turbos and 29 mpg on the highway. That is the ticket.

+1 and you can get 412 RWH easily when they get the fuel issue ironed out. I think they are close now with small boost.

All the turbos seem to keeping or even increasing their fuel effiency when they get over the initial excitement of having the extra power. It is a win-win if you aren't worried about the warranty. Now, if GM will give us one from the factory we can have it all.

once i drop in the new 2012 heads and valves my warranty will go unless you know my dealer wants to be cool.. and get a fist bump lol

now that i think of it i dont think they would use somthing like headers maybe something that looks more like a downpipe with that one opening

If your dealer is cool, and you buy the heads from them and let them do the swap, I wouldn't be suprised if they would warranty it.

On the downpipe, you are exactly right. That's why it would make the LFX easier to turbo. Instead of a custom manifold and downpipe, you only have to make the downpipe and fit a flange to the manifold (maybe a pipe with a flange on both sides if you wanted to mount it in the engine bay.

I would not trade my heads for the 2012 heads. I'd have mine worked on a flow bench by a professional increasing the flow by much more than GM did for 2012 and then put headers on. I'd bet that the 2010-11 heads with headers outperform those heads. Plus GM won't be letting them go cheap. Anyone have a before and after rwhp dyno of just a headers install? I'd bet more than an 11 hp gain.
Gretchen, if this is truely a fuel supply issue, how did you solve it with twin turbo's. Eventually someone will come out with a supercharger for the LLT, they have them for the 5.0L and it's direct injection right? EDIT, nope I guess it's not DI, but rather just VVT.
