GM Hurst Shifter

I was looking at the Gm parts direct site http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...ber=2010Camaro today and clicked on the short throw-shifter kit to see if it is available yet and when I clicked the link 2010 V8 (LS3) Camaro Short-Throw Shifter Kit
Its gone?
Anyone know whats going on?

Maybe since Hurst came out with one on their own they nixed it. It's better anyway. Shorter throw. Love mine!

Oh good

It worried me a bit I have had the thing on order with the dealer since July.
I am trying to stay with GM certified stuff on the upgrades.

That's what I figured was going on since Hurst came out with one on their own first.

Its "discontinued" from ordering thru the system as GM doesn't want to accept any orders for a part that's getting a redesign per their request!. It is not "disscontinued" in terms of it will never be coming...it will be !

I was checking on the backorder status for the 2010 V8 (LS3) Camaro Short-Throw Shifter Kit
And I clicked the link http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=92214388 and it was no longer there?
Has it been discontinued or is there going be something else to replace it?

Autobot, I know you are trying to be helpful, but honestly, I would believe SubZero05 over the customer service rep at GM parts direct.

Still waiting for subzero05 to check into it.

I hope the GM customer service is wrong.

here is what I know. GM and Hurst are still testing the "revised" unit per the GM request. The engineering teams of GM holden and North Am. and Hurst are making some O-ring changes to the shifter , as well as creating a "Knob" with the Hurst logo . This project is DEFINATELY not discontinued, its just under a re-work still!..
