I don't mean to bring anyone down :(, but early this morning my darling little Clare went to be home with Jesus. So many times she would sit patiently by while I posted here on UC5, waiting for some well deserved attention.

I loved her so, she was my cutey, my dolly ... now frolicking on heavenly pastures with the Saints in heaven.

Jeff, sounds like you had one hell of a career as a firefighter, sorry to hear you lost some close friends in the line of duty.

I grew up in a small town , And all the guys worked out of town so they started a junior firefighter program , started when I was 15 years old , hell we were driving the trucks by 16, during the daytime we would leave school if there was a fire.. I tell you what sure grows you up fast , and you learn alot .. Took that on to the service with me , so figre fighting school was a breeze for me , always scored in the top 3 % of the class .. But the things you see are hard to live with also, to many sleepless nights ..:(

Frank. Sorry to hear that. It's amazing how attached we become to pets. I had to let go of a awesome pet 2 years ago and still miss him like hell!!!

It must be in the air because as I was adding pics from wgi I ran across some of my cat martini who got hit on good Friday and I was really missing him last night:( he was my boy

It's a very sad thing to lose a pet, I know how you feel and no words will make it better, but we are here for you

I want to thank everyone for your kind words & the stories about your own pets. I've had 7 cats over the past 30 years (still have one little guy, Jude), but it's still never easy when you lose one.

Finally, I know this isn't a forum about pets so I won't tying up the thread with any more posts about it. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your patience ...
