ABM with the hockey stick stripes (pics here)
I was looking around flickr and found these recent pics:
more here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/monstertodd/page2/ I'm disappointed by the photos. They suck. Never got the entire car in a single one of them. :(

the more I see the hood and hockey stripes the less I like them... look at the trunk, it looks like someone glue a big sheet of paper on lol

Within the next 10 years, that's just what the white decals will become. Some kid will take his dad's car to highschool and the decal will have a penis draw with sharpie on it within the first week.

I still submit that you should put dark and/or metallic colored striping on the Aqua Blue. Also, I've never really been fond of the bonnet striping, but I will put some hockey sticks on that should be a little more unique than GM's. And, since I'll do them myself (and I've got the experience), there will be as little of a seam as possible.

ABM looks so much different in person, I spend 25 minutes at local dealer yesterday looking at the color on HHR and in person and in the sun it is pretty green, in shade nice shade of blue, too pearly for me, going to stick with IBM. Just some thoughts from a blue lover, also looked at a JSB corvette and now that is a beautiful blue!!!

ABM
New to the board was just looking at this thread. We had a IBM ordered until Saturday when we saw a ABM that just came in at the dealership. My wife loves the ABM so we changed the order Monday morning. The ABM is beautiful. it is very close to the color she had with her 1986 Camaro.

Photos of ABM with Cyber Gray Hood/Hockey Stick Stripes
Has anyone seen an ABM with Cyber Gray Hood/Hockey Stick Stripes combo?
I have an ABM SS/RS. I just got it on 11/17. I wanted Silver in the hood/hockey stick stripe combo and was told it was the same silver as the silver rally stripes, but it isn't- it's really very dark Cyber Gray. The dealer is trying to talk me into white, which I admit really pops and reminds me of the 69 SS/RS blue/white combo, but I'm still attracted to silver. In the meantime I've seen a photo of an ABM with black hockey stick stripes and it is really quite attractive. I'm really re-thinking putting the Cyber Gray Hood/Hockey Stick Stripe combo on the car. I really wish I could see them on an Aqua Blue Metallic Car. Help!! Thanks, Dave Harvey |
