I didn't. I just took the radio faceplate off and masked the knobs and buttons.

Not at all. It literally took all of 90 seconds. Take out console bezel from around the shifter and 2 screws from the bottom of face plate. Then pull it out.

man...doing the center console looks awesome. My Alpine kit matches the bright silver in the dash. So now the console is odd ball. This would fix it. Mine's an auto. I'd have to figure out the plate around the shifter I guess.

On more question for ya before I spray my radio face plate. Do you have any advice on how to mask off the tinny markings around the A/C knobs?

I sprayed it all and took a tooth pick and cleaned those out. I kind of wish I wouldn't have. It looked so clean with it all painted.

Hey guys love the plasti dip, I was wondering how many cans I need to do the 20" RS rims. Do I need them off the car to do the inside of them?
