True, I was just thinking the "known" ZR1 Camaro is from Hess, the LS9 swap from Hennessey is known as the HPE700.

Cost.

We had this discussion some time ago.IIRC, the feedback we got from fbodfather is that the Recaro seats would be at least a $3,000.00 option, possibly more.

I think that although some of us would stillbe willing to pay that price, they wouldn't be able to sell enough of them to make it feasible.

I wish Recaro's were at least an option on the Camaro and Corvette. They really should be standard in the Corvette. My SS had comfortable seats for cruising but lateral support was lousy. The 18-way adjustable heated and cooled seats in the V are a $3,400 option and worth every penny IMHO. I should state I'm not big in the rear (32" waist) but I could easily see someone with a wide caboose being uncomfortable in them. The thigh bolsters even when fully relaxed don't leave a lot of room.

I have the Recaros in my GT500 Vert, love them since the base seats are awful, but the heated seats in my wife's SS are very nice this time of year!

You guys think I can rip the seats out of a 2013 mustang GT and install them into my camaro so that i can keep the airbags?

Nope same prices about, I only looked at the first two pages and they match up with what Ford Charges for the Factory option (per seat not overall) or if you buy them after the fact. You also have to realize their are airbags in the Mustang Recaros so that brings up the cost.
