i'm planning to get a camaro this summer and i'm wondering what store i could buy the best stripes.. i'm planning to get a 2011 2LT/RS summit white .. factory stripes are good but i want to have options.. i've seen some websites buy i/m not sure if they are good quality.

also, how much is it usually to install it? where do you recommend to have it installed? at the dealer or somewhere else? (im from NYC)

Get your stripes painted on! My dealer does them and has examples in the showroom. Just beautiful when there is no raise on the hood/deck lid from the vinyls. I've also heard that wax can get underneath the vinyl stripes. My dealer does the stripes for $695 (Hood & Deck lid). So if it were me, I'd opt out for factory stripes and do it right.

that's a great idea.. do all dealerships offer painted stripes or just a few? i guess i'll have to find a dealer just for that

I would just inquire about that at your local dealers. They may have some examples in their showroom as well. IMHO those stick on stripes are fugly, and that raise it creates is no good.

I'd rather make my Camaro Original and make it a Two Tone.

Black on bottom and Red on the top. Stripes make the car look just like the other ones..

I advise you to make your Camaro a head turner instead of a, "It's just a Camaro." type of Camaro.

i already got an estimate from some1 and 2 tone is too expensive.. plus i already got my mind made up with summit white with black stripes.. i got a theme lready ( i'm not gonna elaborate coz some1 with steal my idea)

Any paint shop will have the best stripes.

Here in MD, you'd be amazed at how hard it is to find someone willing to paint the stripes on.

I've been to two different body shops, both told me no. Two different dealers told me the same. Body shops said they were a pain to get right, dealers said they were to time consuming.

I never thought it would be this freaking difficult to give away money.

Even had a vinyl guy give me a quote but he said he'd rather not do it either. My thought was if you'd rather not do it, I'm happy to help you with that.
