Got quoted this for zl1 bumper paint/install

People say I can order it painted and install myself but this is what I was quoted.

No no! I wasn't complaining or anything just more or less saying maybe I should just tackle putting it on myself instead of paying that amount. Think I can do that??

I got my ZL1 bumper painted to match before it arrived. I installed it solo. I would not recommend doing the install solo (find a buddy to help), other than that, you can easily do this on your own in an hour or two max. Lots of videos online that will tell you exactly how to take off the old bumper and put on the new one.

Do it yourself. Don't forget to match the hood lines. Anyone on C5 can do that. Try "Gary's" or "Roger's Chevrolet".

The only thing I would worry about having painted prior to arrival is good color match. I received items before that didn't match up to well but my car is inferno so hard to match anyway

I had mine sent to the painter and the match was horrendous. I recommend installing it yourself and taking it to a painter. Mine cost $450 for paint.

Everyone says Gary does a pretty great job of matching. I have victory red so Im not sure how hard that is to match. I am calling around today to get quotes on painting though!

got my rockers panels painted by "Gary's" and match was perfect, victory red.
