Stripes or no ?
I have a 2011 2ss Black on black and at first i was gona go with the IO stripes then i decided not tho didnt like the IO im more of a black and red guy. Now iv been thinking about this but idk how it would actually turn out on my car.
I wanna take a red stripe like the factory install one but just the pinstripe that goes around the actaul stripe. so it would be like a red out line of a black stripe iv only seen one other like this and isk if its worth it or not. |

I say go for it! You could do flat black stripes, also!

Gotta do something! Mine is VR and i need something to make the rise in the hood stick out more. So I'm thinking the spears that go on the edge of the cowling or a whole set of stries

Man I would really like to get ghost stripes on mine, and get rid of the black vinyl stripes

I love my Cyber Gray Metallic Stripes on my Victory Red. All the other cars I've seen have the flat black stripes. Parked side by side the difference is quite amazing in person. The Cyber Gray Metallic sparkles in the sun and looks glossy. From a distance they look like glossy black, but when you get close you see the shine and sparkle. I get lots of compliments on them. This picture (the first 2010 Camaro to show up at the car shows with stripes) was why I got the Victory Red with Cyber Gray Metallic Stripes. This car is Victory Red (not IOM). |

I saw a great looking black '10 that had the rally black (matte) stripes and it was a great, subtle look.. I prefer subtle stripes (I have CGM with matte black and love it).. Good Luck.

Flat black on black with badges removed and light surrounds flat black would look great. I almost went that route but I decided on CGM with flat black. I have a liking to red accents also, but the sinister look is nice also.

I think they look goofy without stripes of some kind. Without stripes look cheap, or base model or something, (no offense intended, just MHO).

Wonderfully Awful Idea

I like the red out-line look to match it I'd do the out-lined red on black billet bowtie.

JAB, think about this...CGM Rally Stripes, with the PIN STRIPE on the outside in RED like you suggested......I have seen more than one Black Camaro with CGM stripes, and it looks awesome!
