5th gen dsx pump
My car is a m6 5th gen Head/cam,2.35/9.1, dsx aux pump, id1300,dsx flex fuel kit, forged internals 10:5:1 cr! My question is when i i do a wot pull and my pump kicks on it jumps up to 70psi and by the time I’m at top of 4th my pressure is down to 50-52 psi, what could be causing this? I replaced the actual pump yesterday thinking it was weak maybe and cleaned the filter and it’s still doing same thing!

Have the settings in the fpcm been changed?
Those need to be changed to allow higher pressure. I have the dsx parts,I have 85 psi. |

FPCM and pressures in the tune can be adjusted..
I have the ZL1 fuel pump, BAP, and DSX kit — Dave adjusted my FPCM for me when I purchased the kit: -Don

Yep, that should be updated. Dave Steck told me to raise mine. What I have is based on his and Mark’s (ABADZL1) recommendations... and the reprogrammed FPCM...
