Roll raced a 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S
Yesterday the wife and I took the chevys for a quick ride. She in her 17 chevy ss sedan and I rode in my 17 ZL1. Well about 20 minutes into our cruise a 2019 Porsche 911 turbo S pull up wanting to give it a go. We hit two roll races from 40 to some serious digit speeds. He got my by a fender first race, I got him by half a car in the second race. At the stop light he could not believe my zl1 could keep up with his 220k 911 turbo S. He could not believe it is stock either. Told him only modes are intake and exhaust. No real power mods at all. This was my first race in the zl1. But I was very impressed to say the least. This car has a crazy amount of talent for the price. Just a sweet ride. Wife tried to get a video but her SS just could not keep up.

Just don't race that Porsche from a dig. That thing has really good launch control plus the weight of the engine right on top of the rear axle.

The Porsche owner might just be looking for a ZL1 in a couple of days ! Imagine paying double or quadruple for a car, And some good old America muscle/hyper car now puts you on blast ! Chevy did a great job ! I passed a 2019 ZR1 today on the opposite side of the highway today, He stared pretty hard at my ZL1 1le ! I thought yes it's me buddy, I payed half of what you paid and I'm only 105 hp down, plus I look better ! LOL!!!!

The ZR1 does look great ! But it came out after the ZL1 1le ! The wing with the carnards look better ! The ZR1 wing looks like a after thought !( Let put a wing on it right before production )And would you pay double for a car with 105 hp more ? One thing we agree on the port injection/direct injection was a better design !
