Do people think MRT 1.0 sounds bad? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I think it sounds awesome, and it is cheaper... but it really gets no love on this section, All the vids and post are about 2.0... Im asking this because im getting my car in a week and want to order my 1.0 but it seems as if 95% of people have 2.0. Now i know some people want exhaust that are more tame...i know of about 4 members with 1.0??? why only 4?...

Will i regret 1.0? I love loud exhaust and i want to be the loudest car on the streets.. I just hope it dont sound weak..

I agree that it sounds awesome and if I was 20 years younger I would have gone for it. I have to appease the neighbors and old its harder to get away with the cool factor being an old guy

I think from what you say the MRT 1.0 is a great choice for you..........

Mainly because MRT used my car as the test mule for both 1.0 and 2.0... I kept 2.0 mainly for the slightly quieter cold start-up and the reduced resonance at 2000 RPM.. and while those things never bother me, i know they bothered the Mrs. a bit... Some days I do miss the aggressive in-your-face of 1.0... LOL

fyi v2 is quite loud. its perfect though. louder then i thought. v1 must be insane. i couldnt imagine somthing too loud as a daily. but thats just me.

Dude you know where I stand on this subject....haha. 1.0 ALL THE WAY! You have said about how you wanna be the loudest car on the block so all you need is MRT 1.0. 2.0 sounds great and very refined but 1.0 sounds like a badass beast when you fire it up. My neighbor came over the other day and said I was rattling stuff on her walls when I started up cold a couple days ago. I love it.
