Need opinions, Crap i dealt with on delivery day!

Hi this morning 2010-03-15 was the delivery date for my 2010 camaro.Well surprise i get there this morning at 10h30 a.m and as i walk in the door i get a cell phone call. Its the general sales manager.
Im already in the building so he comes gets me at reception.
My car cant be delivered there is an issue with one of the catalytic converters , they have to change it.Ive never seen the car before soo i said `well let me see her`
First of all shes dirty as crap! mud all over the place dusty and dirt in the car all over the place.
i say like wtf! i take the keys look at the odometer 546km.
Now that seems a tad high for me for a brand new vehicule.
What do you guys think.

update:
Called gm canada and they are having a regional senior customer care rep call the dealership.
Got a hold of the owner and he seemed very concerned about the issue and has stated that he will get this squared out.
He said if he has to cut 1000.00$ off the price of the car hel do it as long as im satisfied with my purchase.
Like i said car is pristine just dirty and has the 546km on it.
Now if they cut 1 grand off my total im jumping all over this.
What do you guys think?

Last Update:
dealer offer was 750.00$ off and free oil changes for life.
I said yes because i thoroughly inspected the car and it is realy in excellent shape.
Thank you everyone for your input and advice.
This is the 2nd time i almost canceled a 2010 camaro order.First time i had a dealer with 0 allocations promise me a delivery date he couldnt make.
Found out by calling gm Canada.

Il deal with the 546km, its a decision i had to make but they understood my concerns and tried there best to make it better. The vehiculewas shipped from Kopus Casing Ontario wich is very isolated and that explains the mileage.
Best regards.
They called me and itl be ready at 19h00 after supper.

dude! i got my baby with 9 miles on it. someones been taking yours for a joy ride. did you already pay for it? make sure your warranty goes 546 miles OVER the regular warranty. and id be really pissed cause they probably dogged the shit out of it.

just my opinion. demand a new one or file thru the BBB.

I realize I'm not doing the metric conversion here but mine had precisely 16 miles on it.. I would NOT take that vehicle, clearly something funny is going on...

NO, the Rev limiter is not set to 118MPH... and YES, driving in this manner does affect MPG...

were you a pre order? 546km seems like alot of km/miles on a new car (339 miles!)

Sounds like somebody's been joy riding in your car. Don't take delivery. Get your down payment back, if you put one down.

And I thought 22 miles were too many on my new ride! (not really)
But I sure would not accept one with over 500 miles on it.

no way!! ill bet there' nothing wrong with that Cat either...he was just delaying you delivery to get the car cleaned up. no way would i take it. you should have taken pics and verified the vin to ensure you get a different one!! OR, go someplace else. get the regional rep involved too...that's CRAP! I DON'T KNOW THAT I WOULD EVER TRUST THAT DEALER AGAIN...FOR ANYTHING!!!

I have not signed the papers on it , it was a located vehicule from Ontario (another province than mine).i had to pay a 500.00$ deposit for them to ship it to me.
I was pissed, the dealer said the guarantee will start with the vehicules mileage and that sometimes you get higher mileages because cars are driven to freight yards yadda yadda..I checked it out thoroughly. Its in pristine shape except that its dirty as hell at the moment. He offered a full tank of gas and a complete detailing job on the paint (wax and polish)..They already have the part on the car (cat converter) because i just called them 13h50...Said they could have it ready for this evening.

Still a bit pissed on the kms on it though.....Probably was used for test drives.
