Those are nice...

Headers/exhaust/CAI and tune, lowering springs and sway bars and a short throw if you have an M6 will be at the low end of your range and make a HUGE dufference in your ride!

Without the supporting mods, I wouldn't do a cam but that's me.

Me too, again. I have an order from Adam's Polishes out for delivery today. Watched FedEx deliver across the street, but not here. Correction: Home Delivery guy just dropped it off.

Also, my replacement laptop screen showed up in Indy this morning at 3 am, but didn't make it on a UPS truck for delivery.

Which CAI did you order?

From CAI, Inc in Michigan. Took advice from y'all here on the thread. Plus I'm not the handiest with tools and it looks easy to install.

I have used Adams in the past but have mainly used Griot's Garage. I like Adam's Rejuvenating Polish - - works really well when the car gets hit by the birds.

Griot's works well on my black vette, and I can pick the items up in their Plainfield warehouse.

On the Camaro I am using stuff called C Magic. It is what the corvette museum uses on vettes they prep. Not sure how long I'll use it?

I haven't had the Camaro out too many places, that will change this year with me retiring - - I will watch the surface closely, I do not plan to clay or polish the Camaro this year - - it's an every year event with the vette (clay & polish)

You're the pro but I just don't follow...
Bigger rim + smaller tire = better handling

A tire on fit to a rim smaller than the recommended width is bad.

It is also time for bed.

OK, got it! Makes total sense!

Bigger rim/smaller tire = better handling b/c of less "slop" in the sidewall.

Smaller rim/bigger tire = bad (this case)

  • Billet front strut retainer & nut - LSR

I have some other projects I am working on. Some are done, some not. I will post picts if I get the parts in and get the mods completed before the World of Wheels show.
Old School,

Where did you get the red lettering for your engine compartment.

I have been looking and can't seem to find any.

Thanks............

Any of you guys know a reasonably priced and good quality shop for tuning my auto? I haven't done any mods to the engine or drivetrain yet (CAI incoming) but would love to take some of the sluggishness out of the auto. I've read that people have been getting really good results.

Mike Norris is your man for tuning. If you car is low on throttle response, he has a VMAX CNC ported throttle body for $150. best gains in HP for the money and throttle response is much improved.

Does he always have them or is this a one time deal? Is that a core deal. $150 plus my TB? I would love some more throttle response!

Correct, you give him your core and he gives you the new TB. There is a refundable core charge if you have him ship it to you. If he has them in stock and you are in the area, I believe he will swap it out for you N/C. Love mine. Cheapest HP and performance gain for the $$.

Mike, chime in here. Do you have any LS3 TBs in stock right now or are you waiting on some folks to return their cores?
