Slow start after HP Tuners flash

Quick question, I used hp tuners to turns off CAGS on my LS3 camaro and its off it will not turn on anymore however since flashing the car the car starts really slow cranks for like 2-3 seconds then starts seemed strange so i flashed it back to stock and it did the same thing still starts slow this happened all after I flashed the tune on the car. Any suggestions??

Did you drain the battery down doing the reflash?

I would check battery votage and make sure the cables are clean and tight.

Disconnect battery power or unplug the ecm for a few seconds. This is common whenever you do a flash with HP.

Our OS/ECU's are known for A/C disable and slow fire up after the flash. Chris at HPT is working on it but I never have an issue except the first start.

After you flash you need to turn the key off and open the drivers door for about 10 seconds to shut down the RAP module, then wait for about 30 seconds before you try to restart it. Its a HP Tuners thing, if you didn't you will have the long crank.
The fix, disconnect the battery for at least a minute.
Good luck and have fun.

Is the fuse pull just as effective? Just thinking it would be nice to NOT have to reset everything every time you flash.

I've flashed my 2010 and my cousins at least twice and I have never had had a slow anything. Make sure you laptop is plugged in to the wall not the car.

It's an HP Tuners thing. Happens every time I flash the ecm. Get a long crank. Nothing to worry about. It usually starts fine the next time after the first long start. Battery disconnect for a few seconds does the trick too though.
