Vararam for v6?
Has anyone purchased the Vararam for the G8 and put it on one of our v6's? I know there was speculation over if it would fit or not and wanted to know if we have reached a conclusion. I would love to get one of these, even though i have already bought a G5CR and then spent extra money turning it into something like the injen lol

I called Vararam 2 weeks ago, they have been delaying their v6 model since october last year. They can't figure out the air-flow-relearn problem.

that seems to be the story of our lives with this ECU, but thanks for the reply Blade. Its too bad cause those vararams are awsome CAIs

If you have the car tuned, I'd think you could make the Vararam work. And work nicely.

Otherwise, I am just gonna go with Scrming's IAT relocation and maybe hire someone to make me a freer flowing tube to work with the stock intake.

The fit is a number 2 problem for the vararam. In the G8, I am pretty sure the throttle body is significantly higher than the radiator. I noticed in our Camaros the throttle body and radiator are almost at the same hight.

yeah i just live i GA and it rains A LOT lol and i am not so sure i trust the hydroshields, but anyways if it will fit i would like to give it a try. I think the injen is a very good design and i have made my current CAI custom to be like the injen but the filter is tucked a little higher up. We need variance lol Mrray13 will have his with the injen LT's and catback, tuned with a dyno and i would like to do mine with the vararam, JBA's and tune and maybe someday add a catback to that.
