JRE 125 RWHP PACKAGE DRAG RACE VALIDATION

Finally had the opportunity to get my ZL-1 to the drag strip and see what this package is capable of in Street form, I previously only road raced it and dyno tested it.

We are pleased to report we posted best time of 11.06 ET 125.22 MPH.

The Temp was 88 degrees and the DA was 2765 FT

We backed up the runs with 11.08 ET 125.64 MPH

Of coarse in Better air we would easily see 10 Second time slips.

We run the car in sport mode and let the Tune control the shifts.

Package details

Rotofab CAI
Rotofab Big Gulp Scoop
Rotofab washer bottle relocation kit
Dynatech Coated 1 7/8 LT headers
Dynatech Supercats
ATI superdamper with LPE 18% crank pulley
Gates Green belt
ARP Crank bolt
Metco 50 mm double bearing Idler
Injector Dynamics ID-850 injectors
JMS fuel pump voltage booster
Moroso Catch can
JRE catch can drain kit
JRE Crankcase breather kit.
SCT X4 tuner
JRE custom tune

Thanks for watching.

Here is a Video

Fine, I will believe you on the 18 vs the 22.5 lol

That's awesome!

I will probably wait a month or 2 to order. I have all winter to work on it so no rush for me. I will just go with your package as is then.

But if my convertible doesn't get kicked off the strip for running under 11.49 I will be sad. Lighter battery, wheels and brakes, and misc stuff will help so I am not too worried.

Should be no problem.

Note I am not a fan of small batteries they cause more problems than they solve.

Ted.

Based on what you have said about the fuel pump issues and booster- yeah a smaller battery like a Braille may not work so well. But even an Optima is 10-20 pounds lighter than stock. I think, I have not weighed the stock battery.

I can still lose 100 lbs or so I think.

So was that only with the mods that you had listed, or with all of the mods listed in your 125 rwhp package online?

Nice video btw!

I wonder what would it cost to complete this kit as I already have some of these parts on my car?
