Heritage Grill Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

If you order the Heritage Grill from the dealer, does it replace both the upper and lower grill pieces?

Also, is the body color grill "insert" part of the heritage grill or is that something else all together.

Heritage grill is only the upper grill.

The Heritage grille only replaces the upper grille.

The grill is black, but many owners have the outside perimeter painted to match their car.

its actually a dark charcoal grey

Only the upper grill. They can be ordered to have the grey "frame" to be the color of your car and comes with a bowtie attached. get from GM Parts Direct.

where can I get the SS in Black or Inferno Orange for the Heritage grille? where can we get the lower if there is one? is there a part number for the upper? I want to order the grille body color, unless taking to a paint shop will be cheaper and the same quality, and put a black or inferno orange SS on it.

I got my grille from Clean cut creations already painted for $396 I don't think a dealer can match that. they also have the bowtie landing pad for $50, and if you just want to use clips to hold it on they have them for $9.99

GM Parts Direct has the painted grill and bowtie and special mount pad installed already. If you want the plain grill they have it also but think it is in only in argent grey, but could be wrong.
Lower grills best match is Stillen/ Street Scenes. I have the one with the outer air ducts. Thats 229, less if no ducts

I got my lower grill off e-bay for $89.

Does the heratige replace the factory grill? I see on sscamaro, that the materall around the front lens' are still black, or is that the paint you wanted. Was interested in this grill, love the look.

Ther Heritage grille replaces the stock grille. The black portion over the parking lights is painted. I didn't want red there to take away the main grille look.
