That looks like a great coating job. I'm sure you'll enjoy them on the Z/28.

They look great! What is different between these and the 1 7/8" kooks leaders for the LS3?

Mostly the LS3 headers on the drivers side will hit the oil cooler, so they hade to rerun the tubes so it will work.

So we installed them yesterday, spent time with some friends, They did the work and i looked on, when i got her down from the lift and started the car it sounded so much better, i think the bast way to say it is like this, now you know its a big block, still the stock cat back, only headers and high flow cats, but man does it pull, and one last thing we put on a Hotchkis Brace for the rear of the can.

P.S. by replacing the OEM manifolds and cats and going with aftermarket you now removed 24lb off the front of the car.

not to be a downer, but the stock "headers" actually look like they flow pretty well. I would like to see what hp increase can be had with these new headers.

Stephen i can say the same abut the heads and cam, but some still upgrade, there not as good as you think ( the OEM headers ) they come out of the port and turn down and so do the aftermarket header, next to OEM take a sharp turn ones more, not to say any thing on the passenger pipe getting cut to 1/2 its size to make the bend to the first cat, dont have # to show the added power but know its there, next the new intake manufold.

Best part is i got to ride in the White Z/28 that was at SEMA last year with the new heartbeat SC on it, let me say this its as fast as Hell, we where spinning the tires in 3rd gear, grate car and good ppl put it together.

.

Touché...😀. I guess I will find out and I promise to post the dyno results after tune with stock upper intake, stock manifolds, stock catback, and stock injectors. I think it will be a good # with the visual differences of the parts but that can be an illusion!
