Bulf and PQ - I am sure you two are joking because you are not this ignorant in assuming any person owning a firearm is a red neck. Bulf - being retired from the Air Force and serving this great county of ours you should know better than to even post a comment like that. You are not fimiliar with the sport with firearms are you? This is called a hobby for those of us that are good at what we do. Some people still do this as a hobby out of the military. Some are normal civilians that love the sport of shooting whether it be 3 gun, sniper contests, etc. Some avid hunters have more guns then tactical men like myself. Whatever the purpose we have our right to have them. If you were a car enthusiast (which I am as well) then why would you not have several cars that serve a different purpose and provide you with a different emotion each time you drive a different car. If I take out my Murcielago it is a totally different drive than my 580RWHP Camaro...both alot of fun but again a totally different experience. Same thing here. The 50 cal is for touching things out to 2,600 yards. I can not do that with a 300 win mag for example. So for different distances they create different caliber rifles....I hope this is making sense?

Its funny! I think it was about 22 years ago when i was a 1st Lt flying the Hog. We were deployed to King Fahad int'l airport getting ready to liberate Kuwait.
I will never forget the pep talk we Hog drivers got from Gen Buster Glosson.. He said because we flew low and slow that we would sustain 50% losses against the 4th largest army in the world. Well guess what? We didnt fly low, we adapted our tactics and ****ed up some shit! I was willing at 23 years old to die for the freedom of the Kuwaiti people. What makes this govt think i wont do the same in defense of the Constitution i swore to God to defend against ALL enemys.....foreign and (most sad of all) domestic. I hope we come to our senses before this. I have faith!
