Just read a story where a couple in their 60's spent 16 hours locked in their car in their garage until a neighbour heard them (him, the wife was passed out). Same type of keyless entry but the manual release was on the door like a regular handle.

The manual release was the first thing I noticed when I test drove the C6 that I just bought a few weeks ago. It's pretty apparent. I think a lot of the news report account, however, is speculation. We don't really know what was going on, only the gentleman knows. I have a gut feel there was much more to this.
