WA Front License Plate Question
From my understanding, we are required to run a front license plate in WA. I'm curious how many people are not running front plates and if you've had any problems. I've began counting cars on the way to work everyday that do not have front plates. I think I've narrowed it down to about a third of the cars on the road don't have front plates.

niether my wife or myself run front plates on our camaros,she was warned by a cop about it once and i havent been bothered at all,way i see it im not drilling holes into the bumper of my 40k car,ill take the ticket if it comes to that

 I have mine on but didn't drill any hole so I can remove it for car show's if I like too. Washington state troopers are now handing out a 220.00 dollar tickets for no front plate with no first time warnings is what I've heard. Quote:

Mine is attached to the passenger side of the windshield via suction cups. no problems yet.

I haven't had a front plate on my car the entire year that I have been driving it. Knock on wood, no problems yet.
I am NOT drilling into my bumper!

I am running one. I was pissed about it at first, but it really isn't that big of a deal after you get used to it. And with my luck, I'm sure I would have been pulled over and gotten a ticket by now.

I am not running a plate on my Camaro, Silverado, or my SS Trailblazer. I have been stopped before but never given a ticket.

i've got mine put on front with custom licence
FAQU WSP couldn't get gregorie name on plate..too many letters

No front plate and the cops havent even given me a second look. Keep it in the glove box though. Even had a Jefferson Co. Sheriff jump in behind me last weekend.

Not running a front plate since owning the car since last July and have had no issues & have had many an officer in front of me. I'm not putting holes in the bumper and I don't like the hide away holders. I do carry the plate in the car.

No plate on mine. Didn't have one on my 99 SS until I sold it last fall. Don't see why there has to be a plate on the front other than a speed radar/laser target for the police. I wonder what would be needed to delete the front plate requirement?
