I just got her to liking the P22, I plan on moving up to a Sprinfield 9mm double action semi next, alot safer for her to carry in her purse. I love all 1911's I have two Kimbers, and a colt Gold Cup all in .45 a very fine round and one of the finest guns ever built. IMHO
Thinking about getting a Glock plastic just for the extra rounds.
I just got into the rifle shooting last year and I am already up to 8 of them. The M1 is an awsome rifle but I think the recoil is too much for her.
I did finally find some ammo for my grandfathers old lever action it is a .32 Winchester nice gun but it kicks like a mule I mean .300 mag kind of recoil.

.30 Cal M-1 carbine is a WW2 veteran, no recoil, 30 round mags, a whole lotta fun. Not a M-1 Garand, that will knock her on her butt!
Springfield XD is an awesome modern carry gun. I can hook ya up with the best guy in the business for a trigger job too!

Sorry I missed the carbine part, I already bought her the gun but she is scared to shoot it. Even my 9 year old son shot it a few times, I think she will come around just needs to get comfortable first.

How is the recoil on that .50 anyway. I have always wanted to shoot one but no one I know has one. I hear the semi auto is about like a 12 ga.

Guns, cars and women they all just kind of go together...

Hey at about what speed do you have to be rolling before you break traction on full acceleration? I think I heard you say 40 mph is a no go, I was just wondering as I sit here carless. My guess is at 60 mph the 650 package will be scarry if you downshift and punch to pass.

There really is no recoil. I shoot it prone and it weights like 34# or something like that. It's not like any rifle you ever shot, recoil wise. It's more like a push than a punch!
It is actually my favorite rifle to shoot, very easy to see the holes!
Favorite shotgun is the Saiga 12 ga. with 10 or 30 round magazine. Now that lays down some firepower!

I am going to do some more experimenting this afternoon and/or tomorrow. Remember the car behaves differently than an old muscle car with all the computer controls. Traction control, stabilitrack, keep slippage under control. When it is spinning the tires, it will just run through the spin as speed is increasing. With the computer on, in a smooth but fast (pedal movement) acceleration, the car picks up speed like a bike. Although it never runs out of pull. Don't know if you guys ever spent much time around the Windy City or it's burbs, but there are few areas where one can accelerate much without extreme hazard.
It's been raining off and on all morning here. Hopefully the weather will clear up.

Damn I might just have to get me one of those shoulder cannons.
That Saiga is a beast... should be standard issue for close quarters street battles in the sand box.
