Well, this is not the same type at all.... Centri vs Screw-type. You'll get more high end power with a centri than a screw-type (low torq end). Take a look at the supercharger topics.

My only gripe about all these centrifugal kits is the placement of the filter; above the exhaust, rather than pulling from the fender area.

And that is bad why? Because hot air? Check IATs, even with air being pulled from there most centri kits are going to have much cooler air into the motor because of the large air to air cooler up front cooling it down. How hot the air starts at doesn't matter if the air going into the motor is cool. I rather have a centri with air to air for IATs than a PD pulling from fender.

I'm not gonna argue about heat issues and intercooler sizing and efficiency.

It also looks like an afterthought. I think I saw someone who made an intake pipe that routed it to the fender well

Which when tested back to back lost power. It isn't about where the air starts, it is where it ends up. It has been shown time and time again a big filter right on the centri blowers makes the most power.

Wait, if this kit is $6k, isn't it the same price range as all the other centi options then (or am I just missing something)? Minus the option to throw on bigger blowers (I believe Procharger offers 600-1000hp options for the 5th gen)? Is kraftwerks going to offer bigger blower options in the future?

Pricing has not been finalized.

This is the largest of the Rotrex superchargers.

We will be testing smaller pulleys this week.

Thanks for looking

If this is priced "well," I'm interested. Otherwise I don't see the point to take it over an ECS or Procharger kit at $6k...
