Thought just hit my mind. What grilling supplies do we need? Never been there or operated a charcoal grill before...more of a Hank Hill kinda guy.

Last time we did it, we drove all the way to the back of the park. That area seemed to work well.

Charcoal, just get some charcoal (small bag) and some charcoal starter. Not really all that much too it as once you get the fire started it will stay.

Wow, talk about great timing. I had someone come into my office, and ask if I had need of some hotdog buns and hamburger buns. I have 12 of each. I can bring those along as well as the silverware.

Please let me know if you'd be interested in attending, WHERE you would like it to be, and what car you'll be driving and I'll add you to the list. I'd really like to get this going, would be a lot of fun.

I can bring some condiments. Gordons is close by if we want to just pitch in for meats at the park.

I'm takin care of the meats- well brats and hot dogs anyway, and I'm getting buns and I'll grab some pop. 2 Liter or cans work better?

Usually when I do brats on the grill I boil them in some beer, onions, and garlic first. That adds a good flavor and makes it easier to cook them through on the grill. I can do that before I come unless anyone has an objection to that.

If someone has some charcoal and could bring that, that would help a lot. I think so far we have, condiments, chips, brats & dogs and buns, hawaiian beans, pop, plates, napkins, cups....

Reallly all we need is the charcoal and lighter fluid. If anybody has some handy that'd be a good thing to bring if you're not already volunteering something else.

Gasman- Some of us will be there at 5, others not til slightly later. Excited about these beans!

Or PMs go to my phone instantly.

Oh- anyone other than Gasman planning on having more than just one person? More the merrier, I'd just feel bad if I didn't get enough food.

Can't go wrong with cookies. Sounds like we're gonna have a feast.

So I picked up cans of root beer, Coke, and bottled water. I'll bring a cooler with that stuff. I have brats and hot dogs and buns. If anyone wants me to bring anything else let me know.

As far as I know we still need some charcoal..

Ok well I haven't heard from anyone about the charcoal so unless somebody posts up here before 4,I guess I'll stop and grab some at the store. Hope it's not that expensive.
