I'm still really puzzled by this. There are a ton of 500rwhp cars out there with NO half shaft problems. and Like I said... Robin has 700 to the wheels and no problems, and he beats the hell out of his car... I tend to agree with Scott. leave launch control off. and don't side step the clutch, instead quickly release it...

To be honest I haven't used traction control, launch control or any other control, whatever the factory settings was is where it's at now. Just kinda worried about tearing it up by being stupid. |

When you add the supercharger to your car you will notice the TC more. cus it will cause the car to fall on its face when you jump on the throttle. I regularly drive with TC and ST on.. When I want to play a bit I turn them both off. That is actually easier on the drivetrain... cus typically you just roast the tires which is not hard on the drive train components at all. it's the hard launch with good traction that tears it up. But again, I refer to Robin... doesn't make sense....

Remember that Robin has an automatic trans in his car...

he does now... But he didn't until recently.
But stilll 700 to the wheels.... an auto won't make that much difference.

He put in an auto huh?
Hmmmmm,,,,,,, interesting. But you can still break the half shaft right? I mean, I doubt he still has TM in it. |
