Cheap-*ss cure: Lower the steering wheel and leave our key fob alone. Wheel keeps the leg away from the key.

They should also feed the airbag system off the same power source as your radio and power windows that retain power for 10 minutes after shutting off the car or until you open the driver's side door.

What I just realized, everytime one of us says "I'm not going to do that!" GM smiles bc they get to save money and get to be off the hook.

This is a damn shame.

I can understand some recalls, but you me to tell me with all the man hours Chevy has behind the wheel of this car with testing and all, they are just know realizing this. But, realistically, are they gonna rearrange a customers dash or what? How do they aim to change the position of a key to prevent a knee bump?

Well then, they're going to save a few bucks and smile one more time because of me, because I'm not doing this recall UNLESS they will let me keep my old, dangerous, life-threatening switchblade key/fobs. I'll be glad to put the new life-saving separate key and fob in a drawer and take good care of it.

Hopefully the money that we're helping them save will go towards making the Camaro and Corvette better! And maybe making the Retro 1970's chevelle!

I don't mean the button on your key fob, but actually sliding the key in to unlock your door. Just realized I don't think I ever have. Had to go outside and do it just to make sure it worked lmao
