Anyone have 1-2 shift issues?
Sometimes shifting from 1st to 2nd the stick will be totally locked out of second. It wont go in no matter what except to let it naturally float to neutral and then put it in second. Not hard on the throttle either... Not in comp mode... It only happens about 1 in 20 shifts but that sure is enough for me to get a little bonkers, lol.

Its the "skip shift" feature. A little lite should come up by the speedometer...it basicallly wants u to shift to 4th gear instead of 2nd...can be fixed with tune or eliminator

It's designed to 'save gas' and you'll get used to it. Doesn't do it all the time, but can freak you out when it does. Don't fight it or you'll eff up the tranny. It def lets you know it's going to do it in the DIC between speedometer and RPM dials.

If the throttle is at 21% or less and the vehicle is fully warmed up it WILL do it so if u give it a litttle extra throttle out of first it will not do it or if the vehicle is not warm it will also not do it.

accelerate a little harder or shift a bit later and it won't activate, this is a free solution (since all will end up costing you a little in gas). Or eliminate it completely with a store bought resistor (couple bucks, but mistakes are relatively easy to make), a commercial kit (few more bucks, harder to screw up), or a professional tune (more expensive but you can blame them if things go wrong).

Thank you all! I actually saw the 1-4 display on the DIC today when it did it. This was the first time I noticed it. I thought for sure my tranny was in need of some break-in... I ordered the SLP skip shift eliminator with my exhaust and Eibach springs. I got the exhaust on last night and I spent all day today driving it around and trying the "load" break-in... The new exhaust sounds amazing but I ended up having to pull the center brace out completely. I just can't get the 3" pipes over it without it rattling at least a tiny bit...

Just order a skip shift eliminator from SLP. I love mine and it does not come on anymore!

With the eliminator, your display will still come on but you can shift to 2nd. It drove me crazy.

I would let it go to neutral let go, then grab and it would go into second no problem but I was definately thinking it needed to be broken in a bit... So I intentionally took routes with lots of stops and turns so I had more chances to use 1-2 shifts... I got the SLP skip shift eliminator and it works like a champ! No more forced shifts...

What does the sse cost, where do you get them and does installing one mess with the warranty on the car or powertrain?
