I wouldn't buy it but I don't hate the color. It reminds me of a classic 60s muscle car color.

Yes as I stated before, GM knows what they are doing, and continue the trend of boasting sales figures w/ low budget camaros directed at that certain crowd. dumbdown the brand so "everyone" can have a "camaro"!

Does the Camaro really need another red? That makes 3 in the red family. The other 2 reds are beautiful, they should suffice. There is nothing in blue (BRM is more gray than blue), green, and only a very dark orange. If they're going to do a purplish color they should make it more toward the blue side.

I used to have a Geo Storm that was this color (or close) many, many years ago.

The more I see it the more I love it. So much better than I expected. I do find it funny, though, that people say it's "feminine" yet the Grabber Blue that the mustangs have may be one of the most feminine colors I've ever seen but people love it.

Heaven forbid it be purple/pink though.

I am looking to trade, my first choice was orange with the orange interior trim. I looked at the blue ray but way too dark for me. I need to see the magenta in person, but I think it would look good with some black wheels and stripes to tame it down a bit, just like my current camaro.

I know the majority hates this color but I kinda like it. I think it'd be great if they offered it with the 1LE package. I think it's kinda dumb that they don't honestly. But I won't be in the market for a new car until this time next year anyway. When is the next redesign? 2015? I loved the way the camaro looked until 2014. The front is okay except the chrome strip above the grill. I would have preferred black chrome or body color or something. But I absolutely hate the rear of the 2014 camaro in every single way imaginable. I know people say they changed it so it didn't have 4 taillights like the new corvette but I'm not buying at as the Malibu has no problem keeping the 4 taillight design.

Just traded in my 2011 victory red SS/RS for a 2014 deep magenta 2SS/RS. Should be in Tuesday.
I've always been partial to red, but I like the magenta. Stands out a little, even more so than the red. I'm thinking magenta with everything else matte black. We shall see! Pics to come.
