Daily driver upgrade!

I got a new ride today, a 2004 Cadillac Deville. It kind of just fell into my lap and I couldn't pass up the screaming deal. Its super clean and only has 71,000 miles on it. Heated and cooled seats and steering wheel(awesome!) and rides like its on a cloud. I can't wait to take it on a trip. Now I can get rid of the 2000 Ford Taurus I have now.. its a super clean car but I can't stand driving a Ford, I feel like I could be stranded at any moment lol. Now my fleet is all GM!!

p.s. I'm only 33 but I love "old man cars" as my gf calls them.

I actually almost bought one just like that with 125k miles on it, but I couldn't pass up the deal on the truck I bought instead. I Love those cars.

I do too, I'm already thinking about mods for it lol. I want to tint the windows dark and put in a double din touchscreen nav unit.

My parents had a 2000 DTS. It was a nice car, it rode well and had some good power. It wasn't very fast off the line but it did haul ass and was very comfortable.

If it's a Northstar watch out for head gaskets. Other than that looks great

Power doesn't concern me at all, I will drive this car like an old lady... but hey now I can say I have a V8 lol

I know all about the head gasket issues, I see a ton of them. Almost makes them disposable cars.. this one only has 70k so there should be some life left her.

Just a little update, I love this car. Took it on a little 600 mile trip the other weekend and averaged 26mpg the whole weekend. At 65-70mph it gets 29 on the highway. No complaints here, and the soft ride.... I don't think I'll ever take the Camaro on another trip unless its CamaroFest or something.

Exactly, when it was cold I was loving the heated seats and steering wheel. Now its 80+ degrees today and I'm loving the a/c seats, they really do get pretty cold. Just need to put a touchscreen in it with nav and get the windows tinted and I'll be set. It's hard to spend money on other cars when you own a Camaro!
