Least expensive way to get loud

What's the least expensive way to get really loud with decent tips??
I had something like these on my Shelby and they were ok.

It's hard to tell from the video they posted. Doesn't sound very loud to me.

muffler delete and upgrade to some nice double walled tips at the same time.

go to a muffler shop and for about $90 dollars they will cut your mufflers out. They will have to re-weld your tips anyway so at that time choose a nicer set for them to weld on.

I thought about that but when I saw those deletes on eBay I figured I could get those and do it myself In the garage. I wonder how much difference in sound there would be one way or the other.

It would be comparable. The question is do you feel more comfortable cutting into your exhaust or letting a professional do it for $90?

It's basically the same thing but since he has to weld the old tips on anyway he would probably not charge you to weld new tips and could even probably offer you a good deal on a set.

good because you will get some. A lot of popping and drone at between 1900 and 2000 RPM. However the car will sound amazing.

Why would you want to have your brand new car sound like it has glass packs? I agree it needs some beefier sound out of it, but havent heard of anyone on here that has not upgraded to mufflers after they did the delete. Just save the money and do it right the first time. You wont be sorry.

I agree. Muffler delete sounds trashy and cheap. Do it right.

Do the muffler delete. It does not sound trashy and cheap, it sounds like a muscle car. SLP sells an exhaust that basically is a muffler delete but cost 4x more than it would to have it done at a muffler shop. I am hoping to get some high flow cats soon and then it will be really really loud.

Here is a video:
(this is not my car btw)
