Need help with head ID verification

I recently acquired a 1968 Camaro from a family member that was supposed to be an all original numbers matching '68 RS 327 2brl with a powerglide.

I'm looking at replacing the carb looked at the heads and noticed the camel humps which were on the 4brl 327 if I'm not mistaken.

Here's the pic http://i.imgur.com/s9K0kbO.jpg

Edit: here's the other side http://i.imgur.com/eZeKGTN.jpg

Based on this website ( Head Guide ) it looks like they are e or f which they shouldn't be. If I am correct I have some number checking to do. Am I right?

Pull off the valve covers and look for the cast numbers and date codes. Then, you will know...

Those are not camel humps. Camel humps are round. I believe those are original to the 2bbl engine. Let's call those two tick mark heads. They also had one-tick mark heads. Those heads you have are found on the "less than 275 hp" engines

+1 - f5journal is absolutely right.

Look at the leading front of the passenger side head.
See if you can find the partial vin stamped on the pad.

Here is a link you can use to find the pad location and decode the marking.
