That makes me want to cry. My husband already teases me and has said I am going to be the car driving down the road wrapped in bubble wrap.

It can be hammered out from the underside. There will be some stretching, but a fill and blend will provide a very good result. Probably in the $400-500 realm.

I became very good friends with a body shop manager at a GM dealer. He does side work as good or better than a dealer for about 30-40% less. Both he and the painter will be painting my 68 sometime next year after 3 jobs I have given him and seeing the results.

Ouch bro, sorry to hear about your car.
I had a door ding that sat right on the crease on the passenger door. I took it too a PDR specialist and was amazed how he got the ding out. Took him only 20 minutes and only cost me $75 bucks. You can't even tell the ding was there, it's totally gone.

seems like an easy fix. Paint seems to have held up fine so should not be bad. I have ot admit, i bumped the metal shelf that sits right in front of my car. I was pulling in but i pulled far to the left since i have a project going on the other side of the garage and needed space, well i forgot how much that nose points foward and i was nudging in fine, using my guidelines even compensating for the nose (guess i didnt compensate enough). Next thing i hear is crack* i park the car get out and look for 5 minutes, not a crack, no dent, no chips not even a hairline crack or anything. Almost had a heart attack though.

Delaware is REALLY small! I just met up with metaphysician tonight and even funnier he lives about 5 minutes away. In my opinion the dent should be repaired through the front of the fender after removing the front fascia. This little ding is very sharp square across the body line. Does anyone on the forum have a closeup of the fascia off the vehicle that I can get a look at? I haven't seen the Camaro with the fascia off and would like to see if it would be a big waste of time to remove it to attempt this repair. This one is a long shot but worth a try to keep the original paint intact. Only two weeks old, MAN!! :(

It is worth checking with a PDR guy to see if it can be worked. It is amazing what they can do.

I am a PDR guy!! Okay I found a picture of what I was looking for. If I remove the front fascia there is a nice fulcrum point that I can lever off of. I will also remove the left headlamp to avoid any unnecessary damage to it. This is still a long shot because of the depth of the dent but because I can at least get the proper tool to it through this factory gap, I can approach it from the proper angle with great leverage.....

Had a car that looked like it was beat with a ball-peen hammer after a hail storm. PDR guy said - no problem. I've seen worse...and two days later - no dents. There were several on creases also so I see no reason yours shouldn't come out all right.
