Paint Cracking on rear Fenders

On my 2013 ZL1 Convertible I have noticed the paint cracking on the rear fenders at the apex where the rear fenders meet the front doors. Has anyone else had this problem? Because it's happening on both fenders all I can think is that it's happening because the car is flexing under acceleration. I'm going to bring it to the dealer. i wonder who's responsible?

No problems like that on my 2013 ZL1 Vert with 15,000 miles.

GM without a doubt. (Not even sure how they could argue it). Lets face it the fit and finish is not the greatest. I like my paint overall, nicely done but both doors are not flush at the lowest area and inward a bit. (you can notice where the road debris will come and hit the "front" inner lip of the rear fenders where door meets fender. You cant adjust because then the upper door or door fronts would not be flush.

Sincere apologies to read about the paint concerns with your Camaro. I can understand how concerning this matter would be. Feel free to keep us posted on your dealer visit. We're here if additional assistance is needed.

My Bad

Sorry.Paint is not cracking. The dealer showed me that what I was looking at was a piece of clear vinyl placed on the corners to stop rock chips. My Bad. My baby has 7800 miles and is still perfect. No paint chips. Halalouya!!!

funny because I never notice things sometimes until someone mentions it and then I am curiously running out to look at my car. Glad that what you were seeing was normal. great news!.

I remember those installed by the factory. I pulled them off the next day as it bugged me every time I looked at them! Glad you have it sorted out now.
