having stripes ghost painted

I love that idea... I would like spears that are sort of like that. But wonder if the pearl would look good on black. Is there a silverish type of pearl paint like that I wonder? Does anyone know?

you can make pearl with any color I think , They use mica in the paint instead of whatever they use in metallic. I'm leaning toward white pearl faded in from windshield to the front bumper or I'll just play it safe and use 1 shade darker silver to fade in with pearl finish My ar is SIM how do you guys think that would look

Do you think that this type of paint request could be done at any paint shop?

Basically any collision shop should be able to do this , thats where I'm going some may have better artists than others to make it something special. I've decided on antique pearl whits faded in from front to back , white toward the bumper and faded away back to silver toward the windshield

If your painter doesn't know what ghost stripes are and needs a picture to look at to see what they are, they odds are will have no idea how to correctly paint them. This would be a red flag for me and I would suggest getting it done elsewhere. BTW those pearl stripes pictured above are NOT ghost stripes.

hmmm, I see your point , I am bringing it in monday and we will talk and he's gunna lay it all out for me , I think ,or I hope that he was kinda confused by me because I kept giving him different ideas when I went in and he wanted to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted. He already did another camaro stripes and they turned out good

Just stoped at my Local Paint shop on Fri.
Am looking for Bumble bee stripes Ghost with a fade on a Yellow Camaro.
He is known in the area for his custom paint.
They also will be accenting the gills, smoking all marker ligts and Black chroming the Tail light benzle's.

He did my AV years ago. Ghost flames.

Ghost paint isnt just pearl, its actually a mix of blending clear and pearl, usually about 80%/20% Its pretty easy to do if you have a good booth with good lighting... If done correctly you wont be able to see the graphics except at certain angles. If they shoot just straight pearl over your clear, it will stand out alot more.
