I'm not into Opera what-so-ever. But, when I saw this, it just about brought tears to my eyes. This guys voice is incredible....truly INCREDIBLE. I've watched it a few times now....and downloaded the song sung by Pavaratti. WOW.:eek:

This is a story about a guy, who like most of us, sometimes questions his existence,
measuring himself to others, not believing enough in his abilities or his worth.

Then one day, his passion outgrew his fears as he stepped onto a stage, a stage that took

him to a place beyond his self imposed prison.

Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on the stage. You can almost see what

they're thinking as they pre-judge this guy based on his looks and the fact that he's a

cell phone salesman.

Maybe this guy stopped believing in what people told him for so many
years and ultimately started listening to his passion.

While I wasn't as emotionally moved--:o you were right, he's has an amazing voice. That chick kinda turned her nose up at first, and then after the performance, she looked like she wanted to marry him.

I was blown away...one of those feel good stories where out of nowhere....I'm not into Opera and really never listen. But, I guess I suddenly have an appreciation for the style and for sure the voice.

Yeah...looks can be deceiving. We are big fans of AI and would watch these people get up on stage and make complete fools out of themselves. If this was my first time watching, I would have expected the usual. Guy gets up on stage, starts singing and Simon starts laughing. But, this guy gets up there and floored the judges. Heck, he floored me...hehe. I wasn't expecting that!

I've seen this guy before. He does have a great voice and reminds me of my g/f's talent. She used to win state championship vocal competitions.

I don't listen to opera much either, but if it's the uy I think it is, Pavaratti (did he recently pass away?), I absolutely LOVE his voice...not something I'll ever say of another man.

How somebody with that kind of voice gets lost in the cell-phone industry is unbelieveable. watching American Idol, anybody can agree...Simon doesn't smile much, but even throught that little window in front of me, I could feel the energy in that audience. Did you see the old lady crying?

Uh, God...Thanks for that TAG, made me smile. Something I don't often do for non-comical things, unfortunately.

I love the AI auditions! As a matter of fact, that's all I watch when that show's on. The lady who sung like the lion from the wizard of oz, the guy that thought he was some kind of panther, William Hung and listen to the only thing Randy knows how to say, "pitchy, pitchy, pitchy...

I was even considering auditioning-- but just to get on TV.

I was going to the Miami auditions to sing, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" --Bing Crosby style!!!

Supposedly that guy got bullied quite a bit when he was younger. Just imagine what that does to people and how difficult it must have been for him to step foot on that stage. That must have been one of the most difficult things for him to do in his life.
