The color is Blue Velvet Metallic, so it is a metallic. Probably very fine and not noticeable until up close. Pretty cool that the first one we see here on the forum is a 1LE. One thing that stands out to me is that chrome strip in the front bumper...that's gotsta go!!!

It looks identical to BRM. I wonder whether BVM has less purple coloring in it?

Looks to have less purple and grey, more of a truer blue, still dark.

Yup, saw a Sonic today in that color. Looks wimpy, maybe it being on a Sonic, but it looked wimpy. I don't know who chose that color for a camaro. Seems more like a suburban or Tahoe color to me.

So what do you guys think of it? It is a straight IBM. Or is IBM with additional silver metallics? It seems to pop a little more than IBM. Does anybody know the paint code?

A few pics from A 2015 Velvet Blue 2SS just arrived at a local dealer. I like the color but this one has Black/Beige interior. Not sure I am wild about it. I got a price quote but they are not coming down much at all. :(

Still looks a lot like Blue Ray Metallic, the pics make it to be nothing like Imperial Blue, but just BRM 2.0.

they've had light blue on the Cruze, the Tahoe, now that amazing blue on the Impala. That would look so classy on the Camaro like Silver Ice does.

Since no one has posted in 3 months it is pretty clear that this color is a bust. im pretty sure it is just IBM with a new name.
