I just read this in the FI section, HMMM..

The cars came on the rich side from the factory so adding some better flow in and out helped lean it out some so we gained fairly good numbers. If memory serves me correctly that car put down just a hair over 300rwhp. " So is it possible for us to atleast get 300rwhp with boltons aswell?

How the hell are spark plugs going to make any difference? I am honestly wondering this, not being rude at all....

I thought they were saying that they left the Procharger on the car and added the other stuff and got away without having to tune it. Not just the bolt-ons, but them and the SC to get 300 rwhp.
Maybe I read it wrong. Rob |

also, there's always a delayed burn, which decreases hp and tq. there are better spark plugs that will not get rid of the delayed burn, but can minimize it and increase hp and tq. they do this by exposing more spark to the combustion mixture.

I know devildoc and scrming(I think) have experimented with sparkplugs and haven't seen any HP improvement.

Why would they leave it on if they couldn't tune it, A SC that gets you a whoping 50 mor rwhp, I don't think they left it on, I read it as they took it off and added boltons

this is true, but maybe without a tune, they left it at a low psi, like 4. because 50rwhp is a lot for intake/exhaust and spark plugs. lol

Maybe not, Aby's corrected according to her dyno guy was 296, with just a Catback, Injen CAI, and DT Shorties

Reminds me of another CTS myth that had everyone jumping up and down before the Camaro V6 was released...
Theres info out there about a company, I believe named D3 which claimed to have produced 31 hp at the wheels with basically an exhaust and intake. More info on it here. Post #12 is a D3 rep. Anyways, I don't think anything ever came from it....at least not for us.
