Hopefully my salesman can get it on a truck soon. They are a Porsche dealer that ships nationwide, so they hopefully have a few tricks up their sleeve. I imagine the car was traded off on a Porsche and the previous owner took it it in the shorts!

It will probably be a while before we get any good driving weather in Iowa! That gives me time to get tow hooks, 4-point ASM belts, splash guards, etc installed. I imagine It will be a dirty pig by the time it gets here too. Luckily I can get it up on a lift and clean it top to bottom after it gets here.

First Monday in June it will be at the track!

I bought mine brand new off the lot for $42k. I said that when I got it last year. I think the $37k ebay price is a clean indicator of what it is worth. I don't like it... but it is what it is. That $25k rebate from GM really dropped the value of the used ones.

Congrats one finding one.

This car was on ebay at no reserve and it hit $40,100 last week. If it wasn't black I would have bid on it. It had gone through 2 other ebay auctions with "buy it now" as low as $41500.

My car already has splash guards and floor mats in it...so I think someone took care of it. Heck, at 3500 miles, it's basically new!

It made it 1000 miles in one piece. It will never be that dirty again!

Does anyone feel that non-A/C Z/28s are worth much less than ones with A/C? Or are they sought after by enthusiasts who track their vehicles?

I think demand for non-AC cars is much less (even though they made fewer of them). They will sit a lot longer to find the right owner.

Some think that non-AC cars will be worth more, in the long run, since there are fewer.

For me a non-AC car is a deal breaker. No way I would buy one without AC.

I think anyone looking for a focused track car already bought one at this point.

I think the DOT was on to a few of my plate ideas. This is what I ended up with.
