A6 people, clicking noise coming out of park?
So I noticed today that when I take it out of park, and shift to something else, i get a loud clicking noise under the steering wheel portion of the dashboard. its only when coming out of park.. when you squeeze the handle / trigger to release it. Ive never noticed it before until now. Anyone hearing what im hearing? Its not quiet either, lol.

yup, its normal...its a relay switch i believe....i have the same sound brotha...

It's the ignition switch release....

it's normal, I've always thought it was some sort of relay switch to ensure that the brake is engaged before being able to shift into gear?

Yeah i figured it was a relay, but i dont know why i JUST now started to hear it. lol. Good to know i guess, thanks!

Man, are you sure that its not the doors lock??
Because once you switch from P to anything else it clicks automatically shutting the doors.

not the door locks. like i said, its a clicking noise coming from under the dash. only happens when its in park, and when you pull the trigger on the shifter
Normal, just a relay.
